Carrie, Kusac, and Kaid have been through much in order to lead happy lives. This book gives them more to get through. I like the way many human issues are actually faced in this book, as well as what this book means to the rest of the series. This book is really the foundation of what the rest of the series is based on because what the characters must do. Its a wonderfully written book, with new characters and new plots and themes.
