The third book takes place approximately half a year after number two. Dion got support from several warlords and are about to become the ruler he is meant to be. That Sagan leaves to meet his dying father, is no great setback, even though hes Dions most powerful ally. What Dion dont know, and what Sagan does, is that the meeting is most likely a trap, put into play by Abdiel and his minions. And indeed it is. Abdiel manage to capture Sagan, and keeps him a prisoner inside Corasion territory. Here he will penetrate Sagans mind and extract the recipe for the Space-rotation bomb. Maigrey know that she alone got the power to save him, so she hire the best mercenarys in the galaxy and leads a dangerous expedition into enemy land (space). At the same time Dion have to win the heart of his people, or vanish as the president does everything in his power to stop the take-over. But can he stop the Corasion invasion without Sagan?

No doubt about it, this is the best book so far. A trilling experience at every page make this book must read for sci-fi fans. It is the triumphant conclusion to the Star of the Guardians series. Its hard to believe that The Lost King and Kings Sacrifice are written by the same person. Why? Read it and see for yourself.

The book is naturally written in the same style as the two others. Not many changes in the descriptions, they just suddenly work. A book I highly recommend. Thats all there is to say.
